Legal disposal
Only an Environment Agency–licensed ATF can legally accept your car for scrapping and issue a Certificate of Destruction. We carry all the licences shown below.
Free collection
Our licensed driver collects your car from your home or workplace and pays you by bank transfer on the day — cash is illegal under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013.
Certificate of Destruction
Once your car is destroyed, the DVLA is notified electronically and your CoD is issued with a unique reference — usually within 5 working days.

The recycling process
From your driveway to a Certificate of Destruction
Five steps. Every one of them legal, safe and traceable.
- Step 01
Arrival
Your car is collected for free by our licensed driver, who verifies your ID and logbook and pays you by bank transfer on the spot.
- Step 02
Depollution
Fuel, oil, coolant, brake fluid and screen wash are drained into bunded containers. Batteries and airbags are removed and dealt with safely.
- Step 03
Dismantling
Usable parts are removed, tested and graded A–D for our Shop Parts catalogue. Everything else is sorted for recycling.
- Step 04
Recycling
Steel, aluminium, copper and plastics are baled and sent to licensed processors. Nothing goes to landfill that can be recycled.
- Step 05
Certificate of Destruction
Once the shell is crushed, the DVLA is notified electronically and your CoD is issued — usually within 5 working days.
